In addition to 3 panels of speakers, the conference will also feature a poster exhibition by PhD students. We hope research students who study modern Spain will see this an exciting opportunity to explain their research to other scholars during the conference in a visual format.
We invite PhD students working on modern Spain in the fields of history, literature, cultural studies, art and film studies to exhibit a poster explaining their research on topics related to twentieth-century Spain. Posters will be displayed for the week prior to the conference at the University of Sheffield.
150-word proposals for posters should be sent to 75yearsscw@gmail.com by 24 January 2014.
This conference has the support of the Royal Historical Society to subsidise transport costs and the Herbert Hughes Memorial Trust to subsidise the printing costs of a limited number of posters.
We look forward to hearing from you.
